Something with quick release catches on. But why bother??? If you cant afford to put deisel in the tank you aint gonna be filling the can up.

dunno bout 5L but I secure my 10L with a jerry can holder, bolted to bulkhead, with padlock seal (part of the holder). works alright....its empty though, so no nickin it ya hear!

ive seen land rovers with jerry cans fastened in cages on the rear panels where the lights are !!!
