Afternoon all. My safari snorkel has a pipe running into the wing area but just stops, the pipe which runs from here to the airbox is missing! This is for a 2.5td.
I have been trying to find a company that would sell the original missing pipe but I have not had luck yet.

Is there a standard replacement ? Or a supplier which any of you have had dealings with who would be useful for me here?

Are there no identifyin marks as to the company who made the snorkel mate?

If its an actual "safari" snorkel then contact the forum sponsor famousfour as they do safari snorkels and it cant be that hard to match parts if you tell them exactly what ya got, even send them a photo so they can match the model, just a thought as it cant be that hard to find parts

Ahh, very good point folks. It might not be a safari snorkel. It says defender on the side of it so not sure it's an official one. If I can't find the manufacturer what will I do !?

The car is not with me at the moment it's in a garage for many other restoration items so next time I am down I will look and see if I can get a manufacturer.

If its a safari it will have Safari on the side

If the garage are decent lads, have a word with them, a piece of pipe is a piece of pipe, if they haven't got any lying around they would be the best bet for knowing where to source some from local

Thanks Grimmer, I will have a chat with them. I'm sure they can sort something out. I will post to confirm the outcome !

This famous four company look good. I need a few bits to do with the door lock mech, hopefully they can help me out there !
