had a choice of two at the motor factors took both as i didnt know which was which both were too small so i shimmed the bigger one up to get me going again anybody had this problem ??
If the UJ cap is turning in the propshaft yoke, I would suggest that the yoke is worn and a new UJ will have the same issue. Unfortunatyl possible time for a new propshaft, although on a positive note both my series and 110 are running at least 1 cheap britpart propshaft and I have had no issues with the shaft quality. Uj's wear quickly but once replaced with gen hardy spicer ones then last as expected.Sorry to jump on this post but i have a 1981 Series and i want to change the rear UJs. I 'believe' they will be the 82mm version if I'm not correct.
Reason why im changing them is that one of the caps just rotates in the UJ hole so must be seized. Its the only one that doesn't take any grease either
Thanks in advance
