Sparse by the looks of it.just wondering if anyone knows what the S badge means on my 2001 tda4
The 2001 'S' 1.8 that I picked up had a few more creature comforts, but that may be regional, its an NZ New car, or they may have been options...
Roof rails
Sun roof
Air Con
Cup Holders (on dash top)
LR factory rubber mats
If has the 15" Adventure Alloys
As Rob said. Wiring the screen is easy. Just use a timer in the circuit to shut it off after a few minutes. That timing is done by the CCU on models equipped with the HFW. I wouldn't actually buy a car that didn't have the HFW these days. I specifically bought my current SE facelift instead of a slightly newer HSE, because this SE had the winter pack fitted (HFW and FBH). It's definitely a worthwhile addition to any car.Yes, wiring them in is easy enough: I've made a loom for my MGF for a heated screen that was never manufactured for these cars when they were new![]()
The Dunsfold early production car, with the tell-tale black paint around the windows, has grey bumpers...The photo shows the Freelander with Black bumpers ????? the originals would have been Hatton Grey ...... or some one has coloured the bumpers up with an after market 'Back to Black' type of finish.
I think it looks better with the black onesThe photo shows the Freelander with Black bumpers ????? the originals would have been Hatton Grey ...... or some one has coloured the bumpers up with an after market 'Back to Black' type of finish.
