i've got that well beaten, add a 3"x1" hole in the top and remove the whole angled bit from the top of a series 3 passenger side mid section outrigger so you left with a flimsy "L" shape and that what i've got! :p

.......wait thats not good....... sheeeeite
 
Here's the rear chassis section. Surprisingly the bits that aren't rusty are pretty good if you know what I mean:rolleyes:

I've got the mother of all rusty x-members - it's on the other comp so I'll get it on tomorrow. And the car HAD A VALID MOT.
 
I've had a good poke around mine today. Dropped the tank out of the way to find a right mess. Couldn't really find much solid metal to weld patches onto so I've ordered a new x member from paddocks, should be here tomorrow. I think it'll be easier to stick a new one on than repair the old one. Goin to crack on with all the other bits while I'm waiting
