Hey we are new to the game, but are wanting to convert our Freelander to Veggie oil. I understand you converted earlier this year, how has it gone? What effects on the engine have you seen or do you know of? Where did you put the extra tank? What other modifications did you need to make (ie to the existing fuel line)? Any other info you could give us would be great.

Engine is completely shot ! I went through a phase of using SVO without pre heat or diesel start - result is bore glaze and rings siezed = massive blow-by and very poor starting. Existing fuel lines are fine for oil, as is filter. I used a marine tank in boot for diesel. One freelander going to auction this week! On the other hand, I have a second freelander which ive been running on 50/50 for 6 months without any problems.
