rewmer

OK, so I have now replaced all the wheel bearings on my 97 auto Disco Tdi and still I have the pulsating throbbing rumble. If any of you have had a worn wheel bearing you will know the noise, but despite replacing them all it is still there. Does any one have any ideas ? ( Please no "set fire to it" or "crush" it gags)

have a look at the tyres and see if they are stepped (raised sections of tread), if they are then this will cause your noise

Or stick it on a wheels free 4 post lift and go round it with a stethoscope - wont take long to find it then.

Hi have you checked the rubber doughnut on the shaft as they can cause rumbleing if they have split, worth alook.
