Servicing fl1 '03. 2.00 td4.

The kit has 4 o rings.

I can only see 3 on cap. Large one bottom of threads.

Two small ones at tip. Smaller one at very tip and slightly larger couple cm down.

Where does the 4th go. Checked. On line and the few youtube videos ive seen only show changing large one at bottom of threads.

Any help appreciated.

Descided 4th one must be mistake. So only changed 3. Hope im not missing something.

I think the other is a spare to cover any change to size. I have noticed that very often the sump plug washer and O rings are of varying (and not always correct) size.

Yes. The small o ring i felt was to big. I cleaned and refitted the old one. The middle o ring had two sizes. That was the spare one. And they were differnt sizes.

Only 3 O-rings to the TD4 oil filter. always make sure the large O-ring sits in the right groove in the filter.
