Hi again

I changed this about three weeks ago approx 700 miles and it's starting to split already.

I bought the one from Paddocks but it looks like that was a mistake

I know I put it on right with the little arrows pointing at the lugs (unless that's wrong) but it looks to have a slight bend in it as it goes round.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get a decent part from?

Go to the scrappers and get a 200tdi prop and the flange thing that it bolts to. Then lob that horrible rubber thing in some sulphuric acid.

your best bet is to do what TERRATOLOGY says and bin the doughnut after replacing the prop and flange from a 200tdi !

Or if you find a late 300 series V8 they don't have donuts either.

buy a genuine one will last much better


is your truck lifted or do you off road or lane much ?

I got the GKN one now.

Not lifted at all, still standard.

No serious off road but I do go across fields and along rough farm lanes regularly.

i have recently changed from dodgy coupling to 200 tdi prop!! much better!!!!
