hi all

can anyone tell me how i go about removing and fitting new door rub strips on disco td5,i have managed to find a kit for £105 but i am not sure if its a good idea to tackle this job myself or not???

The strips are held on by double-sided adhesive tape, not too bad a job but the paintwork has to be really spotless and grease-free and above winter temperatures, or the adhesive won't hold.

The accessories section of the RAVE CD has full fitting instructions.

We've got to change ours, the black has started to go rough and a funny gold colour, which I think is the plastic moulding underneath the paint.

Yes - I installed my own (when the car was new). Just very strong double-sided tape.

Search on STC50061 and you'll find loads

Around £100

You can get them with or without a bright insert (bringht insert variation is a different part #).
