3.5i runs great on gas but wont start on petrol,when switched over to petrol when running on gas wil stay at certain rev but dies when you touch throttle,new fuel line and pump just fitted,and o/s indicator comes on when you turn ignition off,any one any ideas,

fuel trims are out, shes wither running too lean or too rich on gas and it's upset the petrol fuel trims........

You can easily verify if that is the case by temporarily disconnecting the HEGO sensor(s) which should force open-loop fuelling based on the maps calibrated by LR (i.e. it will not apply the adaptive closed-loop fuel trims). If it runs fine on petrol with the HEGO sensors disconnected, then TWEETS is right !

Bear in mind that when you take the car for it's next service, a HEGO sensor fault will have been logged .......

Sometimes referred to as a Lambda sensor, I don't where it is on V8 RR, but typically it will be screwed into a boss which is welded into the exhaust system somewhere between the exhaust manifold merge point and the first box in the exhaust system.

They look a bit like this:

The "teat end" will be inside the exhaust system, the rest will be showing.

not got one,is the meant to be 3 relays under drivers seat or 2 as one is missing,
