Hi,


Sorted the '4th gear problem' (that wasn't there!) and now down to the other - it pops at random (not a huge bang like a misfire) and there's no noticable change in engine noise. Maybe I should go have all the spark plugs changed. It's on B bank (left hand from inside) and could well be a dodgy lead.
Any other opinions?

Hmmm, could be many things, can I ask...

Did you take the gearbox out?

Is it worse when cold?

Did it do it before?

Have you disturbed the inlet manifold?

How many miles on the engine, good condition?

Is the idle smooth, emissions OK?

EFI or Carb?

Anything else happened to the car/engine?
