Hi I have a RRC v8 and the drivers door won't unlock with the key fob but all the other locks do,does anyone have any idea what's wrong please help

Burnt out lock motor, broken wire between door and A post for starters.

Thank you I think I will be pulling the door apart this weekend I hoped it would be a easy fix

Can you operate the lock with the key?
If so and its just the fob that won't work then its probably the central locking actuator.
Once the door card is off - mind the 'orrible sticky sealant - the you can get to it easily enough. Try manually operating the arm and see if it operates the cl.
Again if so you need a new actuator. Ebay is often your friend just make sure the connectors match as there seem to be lots of different sorts.

Thanks for the reply the door unlocks with the key but now non of the doors unlock with the fob and won't even turn over think its got something to do with the alarm / immoberliser can they be removed or do you have any ideas
