The traction control is part of the abs system or at least was on mine before i did away with it,
Well, you know how it is,bad week with too many carp LR's failing in bad ways - can get on top of you ! As said the TC runs through the ABS system,(only on the back wheels - the front dont have TC.)so you need to find out from the ABS ecu what is upsetting it.RRc's ABS ecu's can be read with the blink test method after removing the warning light relay and bridging 2 of the diagnostic plug connections. You need to download the shop manual from greenoval.com ? for the exact proceedure and the meaning of the fault codes.I have not done the blink method for years so sorry I cant explain it exactly. But it does mean you can do it yourself for free.ya cud,nt resist cud ya?![]()

Cheers Jon. (In relaxed full belly/wine fed mode.)
Sounds just like another stuffed rover v8,this is all too common - the repair is more than the car is worth.Too many good cars getting weighed in before their time now.(or being worked into unsuspecting new owners.)ear Eight....
there's an OAP in distress here, who could benefit from your advice I think.

I only sent the 8mm one cos they're fookin heavy and I is tight. It should cover 7 to 9mm anyway.
