Has anyone fitted a roof tent to a pick-up?

Just a thought as it would give a bigger sleeping area, but not have the same problems with entry/exit or height....

Just thinking.

I can see it working on a 110 pick up as can use the rear seats for storage but not on a 90 as where would spares equipment ect go , as somebody with a tent would be traveling n eed the spares just incase or tool box ect unless u made it to top off tub a platform for the tent to go on then under that being the storage

That was what I was thinking. Something self contained to fit on top of the tub. Storage underneath.

It's the way to do it for laning... on top it gets damaged with trees.

Only thing you'd need to do is adapt the ladder (drill 2 holes in my case, will take me 1 minute to adapt it)... intend to put mine on the series.
