I was fitting a headlining this weekend and i noticed that some screws are missing from the side of the windscreen just above the door after the curve of the roof stops.

At first i thought it was a nut then could see the two metal flaps and a hole (self tap fixing)

does anyone know the size of these screws so i can get some?

Can I recommend putting a picture up cos as they say 'pictures say a thousand words' and I'm to tired for any of yours to make sense:D

Do you mean the bolts that fix the windscreen frame to the roof? As Marmaduke says, a picture will clarify the situation.

I'm not keen on cake at all. Although, that one does have an obvious appeal!

Love curry, pizza, lasagne though......... :)

Anyway, that pictured triggered a non food memory.

A one from taking my roof off.

The yellow arrow is pointing to a big self tapper used to fix the roof in the front corners.

I think this looks different to what you were describing though?

EDIT
Just read your thread again. I think these screws were the same as the ones used elsewhere on the Defender such as the front floor plates, gear box tunnel, radiator trim surround etc

Thanks, I'll see if one fits.

I love pizza... I have a pizza oven. If you put fruit on your pizza I'll be very upset.

After a drive camping holiday, through Italy three years ago, I nearly built a pizza oven in the garden. We live quite far North and the Mrs persuaded me that, given the weather, it was probably not a good investment in time, effort or space in the garden. We are lucky if we get three BBQ's in a year! :)
Who the hell puts fruit on a pizza (tomato excluded) apart from Americans?
Hold on...........olives? :)
