I decided to give the roof a good clean today
when i was doing this I noticed the rail that runs around the outside looks like it was coming away splitting almost

Is this something that can be repaired or is it another thing to add to my ever growing shopping/wish list ??

Presumably the rail is attached to a particular model of Land Rover?

Great, all we have to do now is guess whether they're talking about the gutter and if so is it split or coming away from the roof?

This will teach me to try to ask for help whilst slightly intoxicated

the roof rails look like they are coming away
and its a defender 1992 90 in silver

the easiest thing to do is for you to post up a picture of the bit you are worried about then we can make a judgement

It may be possible that the rails may be either the gutters or the square bits that run the length of the roof to stiffen it up a tad.

Am I on the right track?

gutter rails that run on the out side where i guess the roof rack would fit to

will get soem pics on this afternoon
