How can i tell if the roof rails on the car are genuine LR? The key has been lost. On the key barrel it has the only two numbers inscribed - 66

The rails will be OEM, but cross bars vary, lots of aftermarket stuff out there
Very important when buying roof rails that a set of keys are available, sounds like they are LR ones.
IIRC keys are from the H or FH series, double entry type.
You'll be talking £12 for a matched number (66) set of keys from a dealer, a locksmiths might have the above series.

Spoke to both Land Rover and Lowe & fletcher.
LR = £15.03 inc VAT
L&F = £8 inc VAT and Carriage.

OMG £15 for two padlock keys
Are they gold plated
£8 is marginally better, only just
This is why ebay purchases should always include the keys
