Anyone seen a cheap version of this for sale anywhere?

DIFFLOCK - Freelander Roof Rack

This is exactly what I want (eg A flush fitting low roof rack) but these guys want £600 just for the rack and another £50 for the lamp brackets. Must be a cheaper option somewhere?

far to expensive in my opinion, brownchurch do a rack for the freelander for £271+vat, not as good looking as the saftey devices one but a lot cheaper

I have the LR expedition rack even that was expensive

I cut her in half longitudinally, its now single layer, it used to whistle at 60mph and rattled with all the bits from the welding process inside the tube. No more gaps put an end to that.



If you are going DIY, then its useful to know that large supermarket delivery trolleys with the two upright sides that collapse/lift out, are nearly the same size as the expedition rack
