Hi everyone....

Well, I'm done with all the searching and getting knowhere so I thought I would just get on with it and ask the question...

I want to buy the following roof rack from Masai




All I need to know is will a roof tent from any of the top manufacturers fit it with this rack having sides to it? I know the tents fold out flat so I will need to raise the level at one end, so would I do this with some very think ply? or if you have any other ideas please shout them out... or should I be looking at a completly different roof rack. I dont want roof bars because I need the extra load area to store other items when needed.

I have looked through the archives but I cant get the answer I'm looking for... please forgive me if I am repeating an old thread.

Why not buy the rack that is designed for your tent? Or is that too obvious a question?

That's a good question, but its a case of trying to keep the cost down a bit.....
