I am about to replace my Freelnder 1 with a 64 plate Freelander 2 Metropolis and I want roofbars added, but there seems to be different versions.
I think LR007220 are the correct ones, can any Metropolis owners with roof bars confirm please.

You need the ones suitable for the roof you have

With or without sunroof are the choices. The part number you listed is for with sunroof which I think the Metropolis had.

Metropolis has a sunroof as standard so yer need the roof rails which allow fer this
LR007220 = roof rail = with sunroof panoramic = Metropolis
LR006608 = roof rail = without sunroof panoramic
LR002417 = cross bars which fit both of the above rails
