Yep. You can cut em up and use the threaded bar outta em as emergency bolts.

sounds like bottle jack is the way forward apart from one who has every jack known to man in his landy by the soudns of it! haha Never know when your going to need all 3 haha

I use it for work aswell as for personal use so I try and keep it kitted up.

disco jack sould be fine can change 37 inch tyres with them much safer than a highlift not much slower either

iv got 2 disco bottle jacks in mine they can do 31 1050 15s hapily enough, carry a sheet with you aswell to lay on floor when ur scrambling round to get jack under axle

i have old carpet samples to lay on.. much more comfy.. chuck em when they are mucky..

most carpet shops chuck em out when range changes...

just ask em to hang on to em for ya..

well thats handy as i own a carpet shop anyway so i new why selling carpet would come in handy haha. Well im going to get myself a bottle jack then.

A survival bag (double) is good in this instance, take's up very little space but is big enough to lie on if need be.

good idea, iv just got a blue tarp in boot, sits under tool box so no real loss of space anyhow.
