I know Tony, I am sorry Andrealouisea.....Please accept my apologies, I was lead astray by my peers and elders....

:pJeez - I go off for a couple of hours and look what my thread has deteriorated in to :p

As a matter of fact I do have a bikini, several in fact, though I never tend to wear them when there is a camera around :D Maybe one day I will post a photo, till then you'll all just have to use your imaginations................:p

As for the car, airbags on tomorrow. New wheels have gone on today and they look fab :D Very purttyy :) MOT next weekend hopefully :) Still no poxy radio tho.......

not noramlly reading p38 threads unless to mock the posters eas hevac probs I wonderd why was this thread so long.

fast forward to the end with talk of the op being a girl with bikinis and I can see why :D

Errr-what's wrong with your radio? I put a thread on about changing your clarion/harmon kardon to an aftermarket unit (blaupunkt DAB in my case) usind a plug and play lead from peter doidge at sounds4cars@hotmail.co.uk. It does work and at £43 is probably the cheapest and best thing you can do to your rangie, I tell you Judas Priest at 400w is an experience, but it might scare your horse if its within 3 fields. Hope the eas is sorted soon

New wheels because some idiot had hand painted the ones that were on there :shakesheadindisbelief: New airbags are on, but rear right ride height sensor has gone so new one in the post.

Bikini photos to follow..........one day!

Dave - have had a look at your thread - Thanks :)

Fett - You'll never make that mistake again now will you?!?! :D

There are companies that will strip and re-finish alloy wheels:)

I hope you get it sorted soon, I had 2 weeks of a brand new bmw x5 sport and it was hell (sore back and sports suspension didn't help). It must be said, I wouln't bother with the original radio cassette unless you're showing the car, no aux socket or miniusb for iphone, ipod, usb etc and a new system will almost certainly make much better use of the HK amps as well, and don't forget DAB whatever your music taste.

I got Clarion to service my standard h/u, they replaced all the bulbs, uncoded it and fitted an aux-in lead for my iPod, all for £48! No wiring issues, works with the factory-fit HK upgraded speakers, top notch.

Hi Keith - I know but it would have cost around £200. I picked up 4 immaculate hurricanes with 2 good tyres for £100 :) Husband has a mate with a tyre machine 'thing' who swapped them for nothing as he owed us a favour :D

Mike - How did you go about getting Clarion to service your head? :p Did you just call them?.....

Mike-it's still just an ageing radio cassette tho', and believe me, a newer h/u has much cleaner sound, and since I've used both, the quality and quantity from the aftermarket unit leaves the clarion in the shade. Mind you, if you want a rad cassette, I found one from an 03 Mini Cooper the other day.
Andrea-cracking deal on the wheels, sorry about going on a hifi rant

Thanks Dave :D No probs! I'm going to speak to your chap tomorrow about getting a lead - I'd love my iphone to connect to my stereo (saves me having to listen to dross on the radio!)

Give yourself a bit of time-Peter likes conversation, when I ordered my lead his comment was "are you anywhere near Kip Hill". I'm talking to someone about 230miles away who was at college with a guy from a mile from my house! I was on the phone for nearly half an hour! Has your Rangie got the pink 10 pin connector for the radio wiring, cos if it hasn't then changing your radio is a lot cheaper and easier. You (or Hubby) need to have the radio out of the dash to check.
