Bloody house insurance wont cover it and the excess on my car insurance policy is £250 I think. Got a dent specialist coming round asap. All the lights still work though so luckily only superficial damage, just annoying.
i give you one if you wanna pay for postage, it aint new but its an indicator that is perfectly usuable.
Apparently an act of God carries no third party liability....
So if I do not beleive in God... that surely means I should be covered?!
:drum:
if yer need ter claim it claimb on buildin ins as the tile came of yer building which is insured against advese wheater in most casesAh ok, I think they are trying to blame it on the winds/storm which would be an act of god, Ill have to try and convince them it wasnt particularly windy that night. It was windy, but not the sort of wind you would ecpect to rip tiles from your roof, especially heavy ridge tiles.
Nonsense the damage was caused by the house therefore the house insurance has to pay out. If it had hit a passing car they would have had to pay out. I would contact your car insurance and get them to claim off your house insurance. and then use the legal cover to claim your excess.
Ere Pikey, can I use the legal cover to claim back my excess, seeing as the vandalism to my Disco wasn't my fault?
Only if you know who caused the damage and they've been to court or accepted a caution
