Hi I am a new member and I am sure this has been asked a thousand times but is it possible to retro fit cruise control unit to a 2009 discovery 3? I have seen units for the steering wheel controls on eBay and so.e threads saying you can just fit that and others saying more to it. Can anyone please help or give me a step by step guide on how to go about it all? Thanks for everyone's help have a great day

When I was driving tipper trucks decades ago many drivers had one of these, a length of wood jammed between the go pedal & the underside of the metal dash
You rested your foot on the pedal (as opposed to standing on the bloody thing) & simply kicked the wood away if you had to brake.

Old school cruise control .

Brick and a belt. Then you can go hands free.
