Hi All, have a couple of threads running regards our disco 2 commercial, 1)one relating to the Manual/Sports lights flashing and the auto box then going into idle mode and 2) ABS/TC/Hill decent lights coming on.

So far your help has been ace and has genuinely help the guys but I need some further help.....have got the results from our local specialist ABS Electrical people and thought I might post the error for any suggestions ahead of it going back to them early next week.

Do you have any clues as to how to remidy the following codes or any suggestions as to what the guys should be looking for next week:

23 Fuel Temp Sensor Curcuit
14 Rear Speed Missing Fault
113 3 Peak Charge Long
137 3 Open Curcuit
ABS 134 Shuttle Valve Switch

Any views would be gratefully appreciated as this will help to save on labour time etc.

Any assistance as to what parts I might buy ahead of next weeks visit as we have a window of 4 hours to turn this baby around!!! (rather than wait for them to say "the parts will not be in until the morning")

Shuttle valve switch can be a number of things but first thing to check......

Behind the left hand headlamp between the air filter and the body there are a couple of earth connections, these can corrode and cause the shuttle valve switch fault, remove, clean and refit the earth wires.

Rear speed signal missing is probably one of the ABS wheel speed sensors.

Peak charge and open circuit refers to the engine management, possibly the injector harness but if the engine runs ok then these can be ignored and the faults cleared. Same goes for fuel temp sensor. Remove the red plug from the engine ecu (lives next to the battery under the cover) and see if there is oil contamination, if there is then clean it out and replace the injector harness which lives under the rocker cover.
