How easy would it be to replace a tailgate and canvas tilt with a roof, sides and a rear door? Does the body have the required holes to fix a door?

Yet again......help!

Thanks

I converted a 90 the other day from tailgate to swinging tailgate, has to drill new holes in the tub for the brackets and I can't see how the series would be different

On a 2013 landy too

My series 3 was a truck cab changed to hard top and sides last week didnt need to drill any holes at all they were pre drilled so bolted up and was done the holes for top and bottom door hinges are alredy there I just had to drill holes for middle hinge I managed to remove truck cab and fit sides roof and door on my own in about 2 hour so its pretty easy hardestbit was lining it all up so just leave all nuts loose untill you happy with how it sits then nip up
As a bonus I sold truck cab for more than I paid for roof sides (with windows) and door so was well worth it

pity you aren't closer, I was thinking about doing the opposite, we could have just swapped tops tailgate and door

Are you serious. Swapping my canvas and tailgate for hardtop, sides and door? Would be willing to meet you half way? Colchester?

yes I would swap, I shall see if I can stick a pic up. I was just going to get all the bits sometime before next summer and offer my hardtop free to anyone who could collect, they don't fetch much on ebay and it wouldn't be worth the hassle of putting it on

my s3 hasn't been put back together fully since I replaced the bulkhead, there are some wiring problems no doubt created by me when I took it apart. Will get round to fixing them sometime I hope. Ignition works but some other things don't and the battery drains

Colchester would still be too far though.

I got a hardtop for my s1 and carried it from near Guildford back home, not overly keen to do that again though, Guildford to Richmond is a lot shorter than Richmond to Colchester.
