Took me a while but I managed to get a good self leveling unit for my 110. Mine dont work so its almost time to replace it..... reading Haynes it seems a fairly straight forward job.....if you've done one before its a doddle :) I aint:confused: I never get a straight job!

While I have it stripped down should I be looking at replacing other nearby bits, gaiters or the A frame balljoint? Anything I should be careful with? Many thanks :)

The self leveling unit cost me £80 plus VAT, its a take off not a scapper. A new one is over £350 ffs!

it is a straight forward enough job,
I took mine off my 110csw when i had it but i didnt bother to replace it, I just replaced the rear springs cost about £30 from paddoccks.
There are different springs for the one with the self lever and one without. You wouldnt notice any difference if you removed it, the only good thing is that the back end is slightly lower than if you just changed the springs so you can get in multistory car parks.

While your there replace the bushes and A frame ball joint
