Hi all,
Got a set of 150mm extended braided hoses for me wagon. Is there anyone on here local to Alton/Basingstoke/Winchester-Hampshire area willing to give me a hand doing them for beer tokens?

This is easily done on your own, get an eezee bleed or whatever it's called and you can bleed them on your own.
Agreed, easy job so what is it you require help with (spannering, bleeding)???
I discovered Eezibleed about 15-years ago and since then wondered why I had stuck with the 2-person method for so long.
Last year I bought a Sealey VS820 and realised that it made the Eezibleed look like hard work! The advantage is that it is self contained so you don't loose tyre pressure as you work (I found that unless the front O/S tyre had the valve in the 12-oclock position it was necessary to move the vehicle otherwise the pipe didn't reach), also it holds more fluid so if you are really flushing it through there is no need to top up mid way.

Have got a Sealy pressure bleeder that parts ok, just taking the old ones off and putting new ones on I'm not sure about. Haven't seen how they join to the calliper and solid copper lines. Haven't found any pictures of replacing them or I'd probably understand abit better. Is there a nut on the calliper and solid end that tightens onto the line? Have never taken one off so bit of noob with brake lines.

OK, you got males all round.
In that case it is simply a case of changing them over.
Be careful that you don't strip the females and don't try to turn the females as they are on the ends of their own bits of pipe which go into the calliper and tee piece, otherwise you will have to replace a full length of pipe.
The lock nuts clamp the female fittings to the brackets, so remove those first.

there is a pic of my front n/s caliper in the off roading section (weston coyney) page 5 you will see the female part of mine snapped. hope this helps

Get yourself a Haynes manual that should help. If I get a chance later i will try and scan the page and put it up for you.

Bump.
I had a look at changing them today and couldn't work out how they came apart from the chassis clip things. Haynes manual doesn't show anything and haven't found any guides etc on taking lines off. Am I really that thick haha.
Would anyone want to give me a hand do one side etc for beer tokens or somthing so i can see how to do the others am quite lost how they come off!
