Hi all
has anyone on here changed there suspetion on 300 TDI and if so did they use spring compressors standard height with gas shocks from
Britpart Gaz Heavy Duty Suspension - Upgraded Standard Height Kit
would anyone recommend this set please

hi,britparts heavy duty springs are good for road driving and jumpy for off r'.
i have the spring set on my landy whit monrow shocs-not the best but ok.
thay give your truck a 2.5 in' lift.about the suspension dont know,sorry.

i am sure i saw a article where it said you can change without but haynes says ya need em

you don't need spring compressors.
just support the lady under the chassis with axle stands and have your jack under the axle.
lower the axle as far as you can, without straining the brake flexi and you can simply pull the spring out.
you'll need new turret rings (bout a fiver each) and nuts.

britpart springs are OK, not sure bout their shocks though.
spend a bit more and get the pro-comps.

if yer want really good stuff, go for Terra Firma, from Frogs Island 4x4

running bearmach heavy duty blue springs with monroe adventurer shocks

seems good combo for towing, well behaved on road and never had an issue on those occasions where I have taken em off road

everyone got their own opinions and ideas and i looked into it a lot before seeing my friends same setup and trying it out
