A million and one I would think, including ECU's, dash/instrument cluster, wiring harness etc etc etc.....
As far as I know the TD4 shares the same gearbox as the L series, but the petrol Getrag gearbox is different.
It's possible, but totally impractical. If you really want a doozle then thrade in the 1.8 for one and pay the difference. But if you're interested in how you can make the petrol as reliable as the doozles I can also help you with that.

I couldnt care if my td4 was made by the umpa lumpas in charlies factory, so long as it keeps going as well as she does!! unlike my disco, who's bodywork was made using charlies finest chocolate!!!!!!
if yu want summat better - chenge the 1.8 for a 220 turbo lump - its easier. and betterer
