I've been trying all morning to remove the front suspension cones but I can't. Any advice?

Can be a bit of a bastard, you mean the shock turrets I presume? First you need to undo the shock at the bottom (on the axle) or you aint going anywhere (thats if you want to remove the turret and shock together) there are 4 nuts on top of the turret that are attatched to the turret rings on the spring mount mount underneath. these might sheer off, dont worry about it. They can be very tight/ceased. Make sure you replace the turret rings. There are some videos on youtube if you have a look.

presume they are rusted or doing a suspension swap?
