Hi

Someone decided to snap my Ariel off the other day, and as i mainly listen to the radio when driving i need it replaced. I have bout a new one one of the flexible plastic ones so hope they cant snap it this time.

with regards to fitting it will it be easier to try and get it from under te arch and remove the plastic guards etc or easier to remove whole wing ?

any advice o how to tackle this would be great

i whipped the wing off when i did the same job with a rubbery one, it doesnt take long and saves a lot of swearing.

Just the front indicator if taking fully off.or take the screws from the top and up the side.then prize it away enough to get in to do the aerial

I'm thinking I will take it off all the way as I can clean and waxyoil it while I'm there

Yep your correct top of the inner wing was mint but bottom front and back are not so good, wish I never took it off now lol. Oh well at least I know any ideas on how much to replace inner wing may aswell do both sides as I'm sure other side is just as bad?

If I bought one of the new inner arches from there do they need welding in place? Never welded I my life so would have no idea where to begin?

Where bouts are you.many will help or offer help for beer tokens.and point you in right direction
