Hi everyone - new here
Just wondered if anyone knows where I can get some (2) 750 x 16's for my old beast. Got a price from local tyre company - £91 for one! :mad: Think they are taking the p.

I live in the Newmarket., Suffolk area - last price was about 40 quid for olympic remould with tube and fitted for one. That was about a year and a half ago.

welcome to the forum have you tried paddocks 0845 584499 there cheep tyres start at £50ish there web site shows the more expensive tyres but still cheep compaired to others if you ring them ask for bob in stores dept and ask.

I've never had any problems with remoulds and because they are normally made with a softer compound the grip levels are normally better, but they do wear quicker.

P.S. This is written by someone who knows how to use a computer (not Jim) That's why I drive a Series 3 and not a computer :D
 
had a few landys in my time and each one was shod with new remould tyres and never had a problem wether off roading, long distance driving towing caravans and trailers, as said may wear out quicker if used every day but should last a few years.
