Hi, I have got a automatic TD5 discovery, year 2000.
I am now in the progress of replacing the radiator as it had a major leak on the fins. I got the brand new replacement today and also a restrictor (reducer pipe).
Question is where does the restrictor fit to ?
Do I need it ? as the new radiator looks the same as the old one

the pipe that runs from the fuel cooler to the bottom of the radiator, it needs to be fitted to the fuel cooler end of that pipe and yes you do need it

Just doing my rad and puzzled by the little nozzle thing that came with it. Found this which explains all.....

also with the rad out I found some serious corrosion on the power steering pipe that runs under the bottom there, worth checking yours if you have the rad out for any reason.
