hi to all
been trying to find a recovery rope to keep in the disco , but for the life in me cant seem to find no one locally hwos got anything strong enough ..... anyone advise me where to look .........

just get it mail order. if your down near exeter way, drop into devon4x4, they got plenty of that stuff and good advise to boot. cant think of anyone around this way.

you can always mail order off devon, paddocks do some. the land rover shows are the best places to pick that stuff up cheap.

you get good quality rope in any boat chandlers
you might even get a good offcut
and if there any good they will splice the ends

i just use a 3 tonne flat web sling, cheap as chips and strong enough for towing a land rover
