My 90 has the old style rear door where the door skin is in several parts. The rear window is held in place with metal brackets from behind, with sealant in the gap between the window and the door.

The current sealant is old and cracking, and needs reaplacing. Can anyone tell me what type of sealant I should use for this job. Any specific brands etc.?

It was quite bizarre to see a car window sealed in this way. I had never come across it before. When I saw a Series II the other day I noticed the rear windows were sealed in the same fashion
