Afternoon all, i have a 1994 M reg 4.0 p38, when i bought the beast a few months ago, it didnt have a rear view mirror, the fitment is still attached to the window. i have bought a few mirrors from ebay but none have been the same fitment, its shape is sort or Triangled any ideas where i can get a mirror to fit.

I was looking today and it looks like the auto dim mirrors have the same fitment, but there is no wiring for that on mine so finding it difficult to find one to fit

HELP please

There were two different types of Auto-dip mirrors fitted, they changed in 2000....

The fitment for pre-2000 vehicles is the same regardless of auto-dip or not....

i have bought 3 off ebay and none fitted they were manual dip, if i post a picture of the fitment do you think you would have an idea what mirror goes on?

Strange....

Looks like it should fit the post 1999 Vehicles (Like mine - a '99 DSE).

The part number for mine is CTB100220L according to Land Rover...

Here is a picture of the Part from t'internet....

Mine fell off a few weeks back, the only way I could refit was to Glue in place....

pre '99 - Apparently these things should slide on and off and can be quite a tight fitment....

Post '99 it is a twist fitment (rotate to unlock from the clamp)

It has a 99 on screen fitted. Don't think you will get a none dimming mirror to fit it.

Thanks Both, there is one on Fleabay so going to get that then move on to my next issue which is new airbags, pump, then i new headliner and leather interior, and buy the time i get the Beast right i will be bored and want something else lol

It sounds like you would do well to find a friendly breaker. If you can you might be able to start by swapping your collection of mirrors for something useful.

He would have to be friendly. They go for around £50.00 to £75.00 on Fleabay. Trouble is don't think you can get a normal mirror onto that fixing, they will all be autodim. So he will have to get an autodim whether he wants one or not. I have fully working one may stick it on Fleabay sometime. There is one on there at the moment for £24.99 plus post, no bids yet. But i bet it goes for £50.00 plus at the end.
