or Paddocks do forged and galavnised ones - £19.50 plus vat for a pair.....so are these the better ones to go for?
PM786 Jate Rings - pair - Forged and Galvanised
They int forged FFS!!ye they are all ok although i prefer to buy from craddocks![]()
They int forged FFS!!they is welded. and as such susceptible to the welds failing.
so are all these jate rings a standard width that will fit the hole in the rear chasis arm?
wot sanpped the tow bar or the mountiing?i'm sure most of you know already but for those new to offroading and recovery (like me ) who dont know please dont use a standard towball for snatch recovery ...my dumb mate did this and when it snapped it went through the windscreen like a missile .... could have taken someone head off ...

i have 4 jate rings on my truck, the quickest and cheapest way of getting decent recovery points when you dont want to run a bullbar or a plough
the actual round ball part of the tow ball snapped off and went through the front windscreen , smashed the sunroof trim and ended up in the boot .... scared the **** out of himwot sanpped the tow bar or the mountiing?
