thanks for all the suggestions guys, will try to get the stub axle out and see if I can get the halfshaft out
yes hub plus bearings need pulling of the stub axle, bearing nuts is 52mm stub axle bolts 17mm, you need no parts hub comes off with bearings and seal stub axle can be replaced using silicone sealant if oil proofJust verifying something, will i have to remove the wheel bearing and any seals to get to the stub axle? Those parts are difficult to get where I live

Well done, good to hear a result.Success at last, just before i started to unbolt things I tried one more option. I welded a piece of metal to the half shaft using it as a handle. After sometime turning and pulling it came out. Have put in a new shaft and flange. Glad it's over, thanks for the help guys
