****ing fluid out of the oil seal is this a doable job or is it a diff off and to specialists?, well doable for any garage?

Cheers

Cheers, I'm hoping it's just the seal and nothing major funds are low and the van is needed lol, might get both done while its in depending how long it takes a side..

Are the seals all the same part no.?

Rear ones are the same, fronts are different because one comes out the gbox and the other out the ird. Can't remember for definate but I think i used a def hub box spanner to tap it in with.

Diff driveshaft seals are the same u also only need to undo 2 bolts and then you can get to them to replace

According to microcat online they don't list any chassis number variations so it is safe to say they are the same for all fl1s

only the inside of diffs changed and so if the casing is all the same then the seals would be 2

also if you have a towbar fitted and a jack that goes high enough you can change them without loosing fluid :)

i did it but be very careful if you do it that way lol

Fluids not an issue lol it's lost most of it lol, plus the nephew works at a garage so it will be on a ramp to be done ill order some up know I know they the same
