got a small amount of water after rain right in the back of the disco. 100% rear door seal as I can see it not crushing down on closure. There are plenty of seals out there but as usual just want to know which is the best buy/fitment.

many thanks

Ben

silly but essential question. When you say adjust the hinges, as far as I can see each hinge has 3 bolts held in with washers. Is there adjustment on these hinges (i.e the holes for the bolts are big enough for adjustment) or is there another trick?

I'm essentialy looking to make the door sit closer onto the seal.

there is movement if you slacken the hinge bolts, but if hinges are worn ie any movement with door up/down there are best replaced

Mine was doing this. I just adjusted the door catch to make it pull the door in slightly tighter. Has worked for me.

Overadjusting the hinges might reduce the latch actuator's life, there is an ''official'' fix for this issue cos it might be a fabrication error, see attachment

I adjusted mine recently. I held up the door with a length of wood and my trolley jack. Slackened off the top hinge, jacked the door up a couple of pumps and tightened it back up. Seems to have worked so far....
