Hello all

I need to rebuild or replace me rear calipers. I rebuilt my fronts ones however I am struggling for time so I am thinking replace.

My query is you can get AP or a non brand from paddock, Ap are £65 plus vat or non branded 40 plus VAT.

Which should I go with do they both work/last equally well?

I put a pair of unbranded ones on the rear of my 300TDI 90 a couple of years ago, they are still working like new, Pistons ant corroded and neither are the calipers and thats saying something as i like to use my 90 hard off road. I have just bought a pair of unbranded ones for the front as the pistons there are well ff fed. found brand new front ones one ebay (britpart) for £50. We shall see how well they hold up. I am in the same position as you for time as i use the landy daily for work,

I fitted the front callipers last night (britpart ones) and strangely enough they linned up perfectly. No problems at all getting the mounting bolts in or the brake pads in.

Now i have to wait and see how long they last
