hi all i'm new to the forum just need a answser to my broke disco,
its a 200tdi drives lovely how it should but every time it leans slightly to the n/s or go's over a slight bump so there is a grinding noise coming from the n/s rear wheel. wheel bearing is ok just wondering if anyone knows what it could be, i had a feeling it could be the half shaft but it drives ok in 4wd. thanks

Can't help with your problem, but just to clarify things, your Discovery (every Discovery) is always in 4wd.

Sounds like wheel bearing!

Have you checked that it's not the brake disc shield rubbing or a stone stuck in there,worn brake pads??????

if the grinding is when it leans to the n/s then check your o/s wheel bearings

going to change all bearings when i fit new brakes
