Do you think I need the whole stub axle FTC3154 | Stub Axle Front Def Ds1 Rrc - Land Rover Part FTC3154ftc3154 most likely if that axle is the same as yours ,fits in rear of stub axle

OK Looks like in a week or so its going to start leaking again.as i said ftc4785 is a grease seal it has no garter spring like rtc3511 oil seal ,originally oil was let into hub so they used rtc3511 to keep oil from leaving hub ,later grease was used in hubs and oil was resticted so it didnt enter wheel bearings so ftc4785 was fitted as it didnt need to keep oil in, yours has probably just had wrong seal fitted in the past,
