i recently changed my front pads and ever since whilst driving im getting a rattling noise from the front even worse when driving on a bumpy road!! does anyone have any ideas what it could be and how much its gonna cost me?? i have a 51 plate freelander td4

Did you put the pad retaining clips back in correctly? And did you also put the backing plates (usually rubber) behind the pads?

no backing plates with the pads and im certain i put the clips in correctly...........think i might and double check though

Very strange that there weren't any backing plates with the pads... or were they already on the pads themselves?
