Hi Everyone,
Just joined the forum, I am looking for some advice about a Range Rover Vogue 2006 3.0 Td6 VOGUE 4dr Auto, mileage of 88,600.

I am intersted buying this range rover from a national dealership, I am curious if this is a safe buy?

I am a complete novice nd always dreamed of owning a Range Rover Vogue, but I am worried about the vehicle being 6 years old.

Any information would be greatly appreciated since I do not know about any manaufacturing faults or faults that should have been rectified by now, I can only find out about suspect suspension cones?

Do you think the Vogue is a good reliable motor with little faults or will I find out the vehicle has alot of problems?
Do you think it is safe to go ahead and buy the vehicle or should I steer clear?
Please respond and let me know so I can make the right decision.

With Best Wishes

As I am bored  and amazed that no one has sent you off to the introduction section :D

A very brief SEARCH on here provided the following information on BLUE vogues

Apparently they suffer from "what was that shake at 30mph" fault, gearbox issues, water ingress, suspension faults etc etc

I am sure a more detailed SEARCH would bring up more information on these issues.

God I can be so helpful sometimes

Thank you :D :D

I hope you have appreciated the quality of the research I have done today (only because daughter did the horses and I have been stuck here doing washing )

I am disappointed in the usual crew though. A noob calling one of our members a penis without challenge :eek:

Welcome,

If the first thing that worries you, is the vehicle being 6 years old, then walk on by, the world of Land rover isn't for you, I'm afraid. Bigger worries than that.

Goodbye

OK, as you ask, and your in mortal fear of wasting your money on a poor little 6 year old "car"

coz the way our UK economy is going, in just 3 or so years time they just may be offering another round of 10 year old car scrappage schemes again.
wahooo for you then eh.
you get your £1000 back fer anuvver spankin brand new Kia or summit eh :D

Oh good, yet another no nuffin noob asking stupid questions then going all girly when we dont bow down far enough in our answers.

Q. ?? did you think by posting twice with the same question, it will earn you enough browny points to put you first in a queue for free advice,
or did you fail to notice your own stupidity

LZ is more a club site, with 1000`s of members, who collectively know a fair bit about most models of the landrover & range rover between them,
but it seems only a very finite amount of us members even took time to reply at all to your double question.
that in itself tells of just how your double posts were recieved by us, the members of the LZ community.

now chap,
go away,
shut the door quietly upon your retiring.

I wll miss the fun in replying to you, but as with the world as it stands, another "strange" nooby will be along shortly asking the most stupid of questions as,
"I want to buy a 2006 model landy thats very expensive,
am I a knob or a noob"

try a feckin transit connect, same size, less to go wrong......
