Maybe I will take it easy then, by all means if you know anyone looking for a mint 1998 with genuine 62k miles ask them to make me an offer. As a matter of interest do you think they are likely to go up in value by a significant amount in the near future ? I am not looking to completely trash it but use it for what it was made to do.
I brought it on impulse, Wife and I only popped out for a costa coffee and saw it up for sale on our way home, and having known of the car for years, stopped, had a look and did a deal there and then. Most expensive coffee we have ever had. After buying the car I did wonder if I had done the right thing as it is so clean and seems a shame to off road it, however I still like the thought of having a bit of fun.

Without a doubt. Clean, low mileage Classics have already gone up in value significantly. The P38 will definately follow and allready have started to creep up. The last of the proper Range Rovers.. a clean low mileage one right now is money in the bank

Wish I knew what the slight vibration was though, under acceleration the vibration disappears ! I suppose the way to look at it is, as the vibration gets worse the easier it will be to find the cause. Never mind eh.

Might be worth checking fluids in diff, transfer box and gearbox. Quick and easy and you never know. If it does it at idle you could get a cheap mechanic's stethoscope off eBay and then crawl around underneath trying to pinpoint where it comes from.
