Hello,

I'd be grateful for any advice regarding how I can determine a realistic asking price for a Range Rover ex-ambulance which has a re-conditioned Perkins 4236, having done about 2000 miles since being fitted.

I have recently acquired it from my Dad, & has been stood unused for several years.

Any thoughts very much appreciated.

If it's on a Classic chassis, next to nowt if it's rotted like most are, engine should be worth a bit though.

Four wheel or six wheel? Stretched body? Three door or five door? Classic or P38? What gearbox?
Some details and a few pictures might help.

Any Military paperwork ie what was the reg and where was it based outa.

Something of a niche market I would think. Assume it's on a stretched 2 axle Classic chassis? Might be of interest for a camper conversion with that lump in it, but an restoration bidder would be looking to re-install a RV8.

Many thanks for all your replies, much appreciated........sorry for my delayed reply, I haven't had chance to log in for quite a while!

The vehicle wasn't military, but was St John's Ambulance.......I've (attempted to) attach some pics which may help.

I'm not sure of body coachbuilder, but I'll try to find out.

Any thoughts much appreciated.
