hi, i own a 1993 range rover classic LSE with air suspension. i have heard of upgrading the EAS to p38 spec where it lowers the car when you go over 50mph (an overfinch upgrade) but cant find any information on how or what to change. any suggestions???

Are you sure it doesn't do that already, mine does.
Mine's a 94 softdash so might be slightly different but at 52 or so the "down" suspension indicator lights and the car drops a little. You don;t notice the drop but you do notice it readjust when you stop.

There is a section from RAVE about this on one of MikeV8SE threads very recently

ETA just dug a book out. All LSEs had these features as part of their EAS.

yep it should do that...nothing to do with overfinch,land rover design..if it dont check the wire from speedo transducer/relay thingy is connected..

As said above, it should automatically lower after 30 seconds @ 52mph or above, standard on all EAS model Classic's (and P38's). Then raises back up after 30 seconds @ 35mph or less.

it will fail if the driver unit has failed that is the unit next to the valve block.
is the system working correctly going done to the bump stops and up to standard and extended profile?
how old are the springs?
are all the lights in the switchs working as the down light will come on denoting motorway speed

hi, i have changed all four springs for genuine dunlop items. i have now reset my air suspension with a cable and software i purchased from ebay. it seems to have done the job and the low button lights up when i go over 52. it raises up and lowers as it should. i am still looking to improve the road holding of the vehicle. i have fitted 18" hurricane alloys with adapters and a HD rear anti roll bar which have drastically improved stability but i would like to find out what changes overfinch made. i am going to build up a set of adjustable dampers at work which will take a bit of development.

overfinch did use wheel spacers to improve stability
